Clara's preschool honored her on her birthday by placing a globe in her hands and having her walk around the circle four times, signifying her four trips around the sun. Tuesday, September 30, 2014. We finally made it to the top of Mt. Spokane! This is an annual outing I thought we might miss, but we've had unseasonably warm weather and finally got a quiet weekend. Greg spent the Saturday before last catching up on lawn work, but the following day we drove up and spent several hours there with good friends. We could not have asked for more ideal conditions. Tuesday, June 30, 2015. We experienced the biggest 3-on-3 basketball tournament on the planet! In 100 degree heat, no less! Kylen participated in Hoopfest once before, but it had been several years. The event is huge. Over 7,000 teams, 3,000 volunteers, 225,000 fans and 450 courts spanning 42 city blocks. This plant was dripping on me, which was quite welcome!
