Saturday, June 15. We got to Kilfenora late in the afternoon, and after visiting the Burren Visitor Center, decided that we would not do any of their hikes. Friday, August 29. Bound for Flathead Lake. There were signs that said beware of falling rocks and they were correct. Little rocks, huge rocks, strewn over the road and scenery to take your breadth away. I would like to say I stopped and took a lot of pictures, but that's not the case. Mountain view from Rt 49. Monday, June 3. The Burren and the Cliffs of Moher. This area is along the coast so the winds and salt spray from the Atlantic continue to effect the area. We headed inland a bit and found a castle set back from the road. This one looked like it might have been in recent use as there was glass in the windows. Thursday, July 14. So on July 6, Tim, Sean and I left Williamstown and headed north to the Pharaoh Wilderness Area and started our hike around 2 pm under threatening skies.
