Words of Gray: June 2012
http://wordsofgray.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Wednesday, June 13, 2012. The State of Gray. Just me checking in with an update on all the things that are going on. Or rather, the lack of visible things going on. Life is still crazy but there is a light at the end of the tunnel and I'm fairly certain it's not an oncoming train. Pretty certain. Mostly certain. :). Legion, dear followers, friends and fans, will also happen. If you've been following the twists and turns in Catie's. Here's a little something. If you've been reading And The Skies Fell.

Words of Gray: April 2013
http://wordsofgray.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Tuesday, April 30, 2013. The habits of the magpie. Do not introduce a magpie to new, shiny things. That way lies.ooh, whassat? My apologies for the radio silence as it were. I found a shiny (it's a game, I freely admit it) and I have been consumed by it for the past few days. I have lifted my head now and looked around and remembered there's a world out there. Phew! So that's what civilization looks like! To be fair to myself, it's not actually that bad. Yes, it's eaten my time, but I have. If you want t...

Words of Gray: Reading words before writing them.
http://wordsofgray.blogspot.com/2014/03/reading-words-before-writing-them.html
Monday, March 3, 2014. Reading words before writing them. Hey all, happy (rainy) Monday! Having successfully released another book into the wild, I decided to take some time to relax and do some reading before diving deep into the next project. Call it a palate cleanser if you will, or giving myself time to refill the creative well. You can even just call it self-indulgent do-nothinging and I'd be good with all of that. Sometimes you just have to curl up and read. So that's where I've been. Reading&#...

Words of Gray: March 2014
http://wordsofgray.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
Wednesday, March 19, 2014. Quiet, down time. The time between book releases always feels to me like it's full of dead space. It shouldn't be. It should be full of frantic, frenzied writing and promotion and surfing the waves of reviews and comments and planning and preparing and . Doesn't that all sound exhausting? Instead, it feels like everyone (including me) is waiting for the Next Big Thing to happen. So, who am I to let you down? There is a a giveaway for print copies of Of Shadow Born. And, to make...

Words of Gray: A thank you!
http://wordsofgray.blogspot.com/2014/02/a-thank-you.html
Monday, February 24, 2014. Just a quick, late post to say thank you to everyone who helped boost the signal on the Urban Fantasy sale this past weekend. It went well, I think. If you happened across my blog because of the sale, hi! Poke around, read as much as you like, and make yourself comfortable. If you've been here for a while, I'm glad you've stayed. To whet your whistles, and then Friday will be the big day. I'm excited and cannot wait to hear what you all think of the Icarus Unit! 2 of 25 (8%).

Words of Gray: April 2012
http://wordsofgray.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 30, 2012. Sometimes, social is good. It should come as no surprise that I am not a very social being. I'm a writer. We can be very solitary beasts. No, it did not. Now that I am older, I am not so social. And really, I tend to like it that way. I embrace my hermitness. And I'm old enough to make up words now, too. I am happy to write and dye at home, alone, for the most part. But sometimes, it's nice to get out and be social, too. Oh, and speaking of my chapter: Brenda Novak is one of my ch...

Words of Gray: May 2012
http://wordsofgray.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
Friday, May 25, 2012. Today was a day of bad news for the household. Not for me personally, but for family across the states. I therefore confess to having done, oh, nothing that I planned to do today. The long weekend will help sort things, I'm sure. The Creativity Flow will return on Monday. Yep, I'm going to post Monday, holiday or not. Have a good weekend! Wednesday, May 23, 2012. Words on Wednesday: They're different! I still love that line. *self-indulgent swoon*. And lo, Tybalt Jones, the hero?
