Thursday, June 29, 2006. Royal Academy of Arts - Summer Exhibition. Was the theme of this year's exhibition, which includes entries of painting, printmaking, photography, sculpture and architecture. Damien Hirst's 35ft tall, 13.5ton statue 'Virgin Mother' is the centrepiece of the Annenburg courtyard. Sunday, August 6, 2006. Is a festival held every year in Gloucester Green, Regent's Park to raise money for charity. One of the festival's main priorities is to encourage people to be environmentally aware. They do this through:. Providing recycling points across the site. Running the generators on biodiesel, which is less toxic and polluting than regular diesel. Planting trees to offset any CO2 emissions. Printing all the programmes on recycled paper and using vegetable oil based ink.
