A Little Slice of Sanity. Just another Manic Monday…. July 12, 2010. Lots of changes have been going on around here–let’s see, we:. Have a kid who will turn 7 months old tomorrow. Moved to North Carolina last week. This is huge people, huge! Live in an area where it actually rains instead of splitting over the mountains, skipping us, and then coming back together over the other mountains. Live in a city where it’s going to be tough to find my way around for a while😦. Have an unusable fireplace. LOL!

Slices of Sarah Pie. A little slice of real life. What did we do? 8221; but thankfully things have settled down since then. Living with a dog is everything I thought it would be and more. He has brought so much joy and energy into our apartment, even if he wakes up earlier than I would like some days. There are early morning walks and cooperative yoga sessions. There is shameless begging for food at the table, puppuccinos in the car, and smoothies shared in the dog park. Though maybe not for a few years.

Slices of Sarah Pie. A little slice of real life. Half Marathon Training: July 2014. I officially made it about 3 weeks into my half marathon training before I had to stop. Something in my hip was obviously pulled/strained which made it difficult to walk (and I do a lot of walking at work! I did a slow and easy 2 miles with a mile walk for a cool down yesterday and no problems, so maybe the time off was just what I needed. Since July is a long month I’m starting this calendar this weekend. ...July 5, 2014.
