Home Is Where Your Story Begins. Saturday, September 24, 2011. Soccer star and Birthday girl. Last weekend Madelyn had her first tournament for the competitive soccer team she is on. It was up in Flagstaff and happened to be on Sara's 6th birthday. We were lucky enough to stay with my parents at the cabin for the weekend and celebrate Sara's bday too. Monday, August 17, 2009. Today we reached a huge milestone, Jake had his first day of Preschool. Mommy had lots of anxiety leading up to this point, but overall we had a great day! Our experience with Jake going to preschool differs from Carter I feel because Jake is the youngest in the class, where as Carter was among the oldest of his class. Tuesday, March 17, 2009. In attempt to introduce the boys to sports, we enrolled both of them in soccer. They started a couple of Saturdays ago, it is quite a comical event! Jake is not a big fan of the whole team thing (not that I really expected much, he is only 2). He doesn't really like to participate with the rest of the kids, and only wants "My doccer ball!
