Jim Gaffigan a Christian? One of the funniest comics around, in my opinion, is Jim Gaffigan. His mostly clean, family-friendly, comedy routine is a breath of fresh air in a world of vulgar and outright sinful comedians. I’m not sure the motive of Jim Gaffigan for keeping things clean, but I’m appreciative. When I first saw a Jim Gaffigan stand-up routine, I wondered “Is Jim Gaffigan a Christian? But back to Jim Gaffigan. I pray that Jim Gaffigan will one day become a Christian. The key to Jim Gaf...What&...

Heart Issue - NO omg
http://www.noomg.com/heart-issue.html
It's only a heart issue. I've heard from some that the issue of saying "OMG" is a heart issue and that it's not something that even deserves consideration. I agree completely that it is a heart issue, but it's of grave importance and does deserve consideration. As Christians, we are supposed to rid our selves of such things as filthy language. So, if I came up to you and asked you "How the f*ck are you doing? Or said "I'm hungry as a mother f* ker! Is it OK for a Christian to drop OMG’s?

OMG just letters - NO omg
http://www.noomg.com/omg-just-letters.html
OMG is just letters. While sharing the Gospel with a lady, I asked her if she had ever used God's name in vein? She didn't understand what I meant so I clarified to her ". have you ever said 'oh my god'? To which she replied that she "only used the letters." So I helped her see her faulty logic by telling her that's like me telling her "F U" - Her eyes got big and she realized that words, and letters, have meaning.

OMG oh my gosh - NO omg
http://www.noomg.com/omg-oh-my-gosh.html
OMG - "Oh My Gosh". So you say that when you type "omg" or "OMG" you are actually saying "oh my gosh.". If others see that us Christians are typing "OMG" how would they know that we are meaning gosh, instead of God? As Christians we should be, and are, called to be good examples in our conduct and speech. Just like I'm sure you wouldn't think it'd be appropriate for someone to say "What the funk? Blasphemy (using God's name in vain) is just one of the 10 Commandments.

Oh MY God - NO omg
http://www.noomg.com/oh-my-god.html
I'm saying "oh MY god" . So, your defense is that you're not saying "oh, the real, god." but instead "oh MY OWN god." That's no better than blasphemy. If you're admitting to having your own false god, that's breaking another of God's 10 Commandments. Read for yourself: "I am the Lord your God… You shall have no other gods before me". See Exodus 20:2,3). And there's even more commandments. See the 10 Commandments. If you don't believe in God or your're not a Christian, click here.

I don't believe in God - NO omg

So you say you don't believe in God. Then why do you use His name to cuss? Do you use the name's of any other people who you don't believe in to cuss? Besides, if I stood out on a freeway and told you that I don't believe in trucks, would that make much of a difference to my safety? Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain".

Judge Yourself - Does God Judge
http://www.doesgodjudge.com/judge-yourself.html
Are You a Good Person? Don't Forget to Judge Yourself. Wouldn't it be amazing if every Christian actually took time to judge themselves before judging anyone else? In Matthew 7:4-5, Jesus says, " Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye." A good judge will not fail to judge himself.
