Warwick and Kate go abroad. Copenhagen – Ferry & Nyhavn. Today we were Denmark bound! The ferry ride took about an hour, so we bought some lunch from the cafe onboard. There was also a supermarket and a perfume/makeup/jewellery shop to keep us entertained. It was a very smooth ride and before we knew it, we were in Denmark. Flensburg to Bremen | Warwick & Kate go abroad

Warwick and Kate go abroad. Today we drove from Flensburg to Bremen. It was only a short drive so we took the scene route, including going over a small car ferry from Gluckstadt to Wischhaven (it only took about 15 minutes). We stopped in a tiny town (I can’t remember the name) along the way and had a pastry at a small bakery. It must have been seniors day, or else they must have a very ageing population. Along the drive we noticed a number of speed signs, with one speed for cars, and one for tanks!

We started off with a general historical walking tour, which lasted around 3.5 hours. It was quite good, and our guide was very informative. And they were delicious!
