Traditional Irish Session Style Music. Is a traditional Irish band available for gigs in the Boston, New Hampshire and surrounding area. We play in the traditional Irish session style which is typically sitting in a circle playing reels and jigs with an odd song thrown in. The Sligo Traditional Singers Circle was set up to encourage foster and perpetuate the singing tradition in the Sligo area by strengthening the bonds of friendship already established between The Sligo Traditional Singers and other singers both in Ireland and abroad. We meet for our monthly sessions at 9.30 pm on the second Wednesday of each month at Durkin’s Pub in the village of Ballinacarrow.
