What was, What is, What will be....: Aiden's Birth Story
http://liloblue.blogspot.com/2008/10/its-really-hard-to-imagine-two-such.html
What was, What is, What will be. Thursday, October 16, 2008. It's really hard to imagine two such imperfect people could create such a perfect little thing. We were anticipating Aiden's. Arrival since the day we knew we were pregnant. But as the days drew nearer, everything seems surreal! It's very hard to imagine the both of us as parents. But the moment when he first popped out, all worries and self doubts we had before just vanished. Our lives are now complete. I've actually asked Aiden. Or the 8 th.

What was, What is, What will be. Happy 4 months old Darling! Aiden turned 4 months yesterday! I feel I'm missing so much of his progress not being there by his side everyday! My mum, knowing how much I missed him, gives me a detailed report everyday of his progress. I can't wait for the day when I can bring him back here for good, and have him by my side 24/7. Don't think it'll be anytime soon though. Aiden's milestone so far:. 1) Aiden lifted his head by himself even before he is one month old!

Wow before you even realize it, our Piglet Chan is 6 months old today! I was telling Hubby a couple of days ago, how I missed our little 1 month old Piglet Chan. :). A little update, at 6 months, Aiden:. 1) Is able to pull himself forward a little, go backwards with ease. 2) Rolls around a lot, moves himself in 360 degrees like crazy! 8) Loves his A...

Ramblings and rumblings: January 29

Tuesday, January 31, 2012. Hanging onto our tradition. Mom doesn’t do things in bits and pieces. She is not into modest spreads. Besides feasting on her amazing food, what I treasure most is the tradition she has left me. I know as we evolve, our culture and tradition take on their own shape-shifting. Just as Christmas is not complete with Christmas pudding, for me, Chinese New Year is not complete without pineapple tarts! I miss mom’s cooking and her disproportionately ambitious spreads. As I Sees It.

Sunday, February 7, 2010. 10,000 hours to be truly good. I bought this book called Outliers, The Story of Success, for Tony as a Christmas present. It was a cheeky thing to do but I learnt this trick from him who excels at buying me things he wanted. Where I depart, I think, from the author, is the difference between "having it" and not having it - talent or in-born knack, the code in your DNA which gives you just that edge in differentiating yourself between good and outstanding. Ramblings and rumblings: May 09

Sunday, May 9, 2010. I have a mom who read me stories. Mother’s Day came and went. I rang mom to wish her “Happy Mother’s Day”…she was happy that I rang, happy that I remembered. I hadn’t organised any presents although on her birthday, which was just a few days ago, I organised some chocolates and cake online for arrival on her birthday. I remember this incident because this is one of mom’s many golden rules that Princess has taken to heart. If there are changes to the time she needs to get ho...Here...

What was, What is, What will be. I've been fine if you're wondering. Piglet Chan and his daddy is doing well too. Many things happened during my absence from this blog. Two of my uncles past away recently. It's like a gloom cast over our otherwise sunny world. While 3 of us cousins are preparing the arrival of our little ones, another is preparing for his ROM next month, we are to face the passing of our closed ones as well. How cool is that! Will update with pics on these. Anna and Dave in August! Cousi...

What was, What is, What will be. Chingay Parade at Woodlands. We were just turning into our car park just now, when the parade came along the main road of our house! They buzzed by so quickly I didn't managed to get a good look, so Hubby turned the car and chased after the parade! We caught them along Drive 70 and had a good look at the floats! Managed to catch a couple of pictures using Hubby's phone when the parade stopped for a while at the junction. As you can see there were lots of people! Cousin El...
