Non ricordo che anno fosse, ma mi viene in mente subito Napoli e la sua bellezza, la sua pizza così buona e soprattutto l'Arena Flegrea dove si svolgeva il festival. Ho visto i Massive Attack grazie ad un regalo fattomi dalla mia amica. Che a quei tempi mi conosceva poco, ma aveva capito subito la mia passione per la musica. Una vita senza musica è come un corpo senz'anima. Domenica 27 aprile 2008. Il momento è arrivato. Da troppo tempo ormai gli appassionati di indie-rock Italiani sono orfani di un festival interamente dedicato a questo genere musicale. Sempre relegati sullo sfondo di manifestazioni dal profilo più propriamente commerciale, o costretti a fare da spalla ad artisti più o meno conosciuti, i gruppi indipendenti soffrono di un ambiente musicale incapace di dare il giusto spazio a proposte veramente nuove e vivaci.

I promise I’ll do something more appealing to a broader audience in my next entry. The first thing about the record that caught my attention was the bare bones cover art, which definitely has a minimal, home-made feel, but also a starkness–something that translates perfectly to the music contained within.
