Sunday, May 1. During my Spring Break on April 18 to 22, I had a wonderful visitor from Kansas coming to see me. My mom! She came to help with the wedding, to fit me for a wedding dress, and to meet Levi. At first I was nervous because it was my first time to have her complete attention, not divided with other siblings. But it turned out wonderfully! Friday, October 30. My whole outfit as a Basque Gypsy - - Basque is a place in the mountains between Spain and France. No, I don't know exactly how Basque people wear, I just made my outfit up based on what I have in my wardrobe and accessories. :) I am pretty sure that they didn't have the brown shoes that I wore. :). Sunday, July 26. This week will be a very busy week with all the driving and visiting and moving. Grace "Judy" Holcomb Usinger has passed away this morning from her long, productive life. She has been in a nursing home for few years and she finally was able to rest in peace and to enjoy her freedom from the earthly toils. Monday, September 27. My closest friend, almost like a sister, had to move 3 states away. It is for a very good job which is everything she wanted. It will be a great excuse to leave Utah and visit her and see her new place. South Dakota is very lucky to have her. I hope they will take care of her. She is a caring, beautiful, and giving person. It will take a while for me to recover the change in my life. Even though we will keep in touch via videophone and e-mail, the feeling is different but good.
