Saturday, January 31, 2015. Drew came home for the weekend to help Gibbo get on top of the spraying. We looked at a few photos from his trip then he disappeared for most of the day, returning only for a chicken sandwich lunch. A few more hours tomorrow and they should have it all knocked over. Here they are, refilling, discussing today's state election. One votes one way, one votes another! We had home made pizzas for tea, starting from scratch with the dough. Messy kitchen but the cat looks impressed!

Saturday, August 8, 2015. A Little Bit of R&R. We've come to northern NSW for the weekend - to Tweed Heads South. I went walking and came across these pelicans hovering around a drain pipe. I walked a few steps and, on the other side of a bush, found a fish cleaning table with sink and pipes leading to the drain - hence the hovering. Another batch of pelicans and some seagulls were waiting expectantly. A fisherman threw some of his scraps into the crowd - and all hell broke loose! But not for long!

Thursday, July 30, 2015. Boris and The Berkshire Broads. Boris and I have become friends. He talks to me each morning and night when I go to feed him. Actually, he talks to anyone that goes near him, asking for more food please. He made a beautiful bed from left over cattle hay. Isn't he a handsome fellow. The weaners were very curious.
