Jumping on the Big Bed with squeals of delight! This girl is all about jumping lately - on the couch, on our bed, in her cot, on the floor, anywhere! It all started with a friend who has a trampoline at her house. It's been so wonderful watching Everly learn how to jump - from the little hop and skip action, to now having her two feet planted firmly together. She was so proud of herself when she finally mastered how to jump 'properly'! Joining in with the 52 Project at Che and Fidel. Oh, to jump! Jarvis ...

I love Spring and its sense of renewal. Not only in nature with new growth and blossoming flowers, but also of self and home, brought upon by the big Spring clean and the lightness of longer days. I'll be sad to see it go as we enter the hot and ( oh-so. The result is my own little four-step guide to a harmonious living environment, one that I can refer to again and again, to remind me that a happy home equals a happy me! So, here's my recipe for a happy home:. I am a habitual collector - I love things.

little wild moose: FINDING MY TRUTH
http://littlewildmoose.blogspot.com/2013/08/finding-my-truth.html
Bring your vision into reality through intuition and deep purpose" - Lorna Bevan. For a long time now, I have been feeling lost and confused. About the direction I was heading, what I was passionate about, and what I wanted to do with my life (apart from being a wife and mother, of course). But over the past couple of years I frequently found myself hesitant to take that first step forward. What if this is the wrong decision? What if this isn't the right career path for me? Morning tea with Clare Bowditch.

little wild moose: THESE DAYS

1 Coffee and walnut cake from Jude Blereau. S amazing book Wholefood Baking. I was lucky enough to meet Jude last Saturday when she did a baking demonstration at the Organic and Sustainable Market. She made a delicious apple tart, and these. Scrumptious oat and barley scones, and then we feasted on them fresh from the oven with cream. The coffee and walnut cake did not last long in our house, but I remembered to take a quick snap before I devoured the last piece! Better late than never.). It looks like y...

A NEW LITTLE FRIEND. This afternoon, when she woke from her nap, Everly discovered a tiny root baby waiting for her in the kitchen, surrounded by flowers picked from our garden. She immediately tucked it between her cheek and neck for a 'cuddle' and then climbed into my lap to inspect it more closely, turning it over in her hands, and softly touching the fibres of the miniature crocheted hat. I then showed her the other surprise, the My First Root Children. Posted by little wild moose. A NEW LITTLE FRIEND.

A portrait of my daughter, once a week, every week, in 2013. Tuesday, 26 March 2013. Everly, my tiny dancer, you fill my heart with so much happiness. Every day we put on a record and dance around the living room. Sometimes you like to sit on my left hip as I jive and spin - you cling to me tightly and grin widely, shouting 'Wheeee! Sometimes we take a dolly or teddy each and get our groove on. Today you ran to the coat stand, pointing up and exclaiming 'Hat! You can see the whole series of portraits here.

happiness.stuff and nonsense: on sliding doors and borrowed time
http://happinessstuffandnonsense.blogspot.com/2014/01/on-sliding-doors-and-borrowed-time.html
Saturday, January 25, 2014. On sliding doors and borrowed time. The past few months have been filled with messages for me. Wide-eyed stories of shockingly fast illnesses, parents of young children snatched away, heads shaking in dismal helplessness. We are tenants, here, in this life. We don't own the time. The only permission I needed to live my life with joy was the knowledge that the time I have is a tiny speck of sand. I am going to work hard to. I am joining the Desire Map. Journey with a dear friend.
