Slow: It's the new Fast! Saturday, February 21, 2009. Sat Feb. 21 at Cougar. Some would say two and half hours and eleven hilly miles with three or four good running buddies makes for a nice day. Tracy B would say it's a nice short warmup. We all finished up happy to be done (none more than me) but Tracy headed back for fourteen more. Sheesh. Musta been Ali's coffee. Tracy, Ali, Becky, Suzanne; Finn and Jenna from dogworld. Aug 28 2009 Orcas Island- Mt. Constitution. Fun up-n-down trail day during a great family week up on the beach. 8 miles beginning at Cascade Lake at 300 ft and climbing to 2400ft and GREAT VIEWS! Lotsa folks up top thanks to the road. Snow was predicted and we drove through some decent rain to get to Sky Country, but when we got up higher near the trailhead, all was dry, but cold. We set out towards the north side and soon the precipitation started, in the form of ice. I was having a blast running through it and really enjoying the moment! Tracy lovin' the snow!
