http://songsinthekeyofkibi.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
Songs in the Key of KiBi. Monday, February 23, 2009. Spring Break, Here We Come. As they say in Minnesota. UFF-da! 160;I'm really dragging today. That's because I forced myself to stay up and watch the Oscars in their entirety and K. decided to wake up - and stay up - this morning at 5:30 am. I don't know what I was thinking. Oh well. In more exciting news, this will be my last post for awhile, as K. and I are headed to sunny Florida on Wednesday to visit my family. Hooray! Friday, February 20, 2009.

Songs in the Key of KiBi: October 2008
http://songsinthekeyofkibi.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Songs in the Key of KiBi. Friday, October 31, 2008. It's the Great Pumpkin, Kibi! Halloween is finally here! We are planning on a cozy night, just the three of us, having dinner and then taking K. out in his Cow costume to trick or treat in our neighborhood and drop in on some friends' houses. Then, tomorrow's a party at our friend Charlie's house, so K. will have one last chance to wear his costume. (Probably more exciting for his parents than for him! Happy Halloween, everyone! I finally got a new cam...

Back next week with more Kibi adventures! Monday, November 24, 2008. One night a few weeks ago, when I was putting K. to bed, he said, forcefully, "'byes! So we were hangi...

Songs in the Key of KiBi: August 2009
http://songsinthekeyofkibi.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Songs in the Key of KiBi. Monday, August 31, 2009. Well, I'm back, after an extremely long hiatus. I think the strain of my grandma's passing, combined with immediately going out west on vacation, culminated in my being lackadaisical about updating my blog in these final days of summer. I hope that I haven't lost all of my faithful readers as a result! Now we're back home and ready to get back into the swing of things as we prepare for Fall to make its first appearances. Sunday, August 2, 2009. The Memaw...

Songs in the Key of KiBi: April 2009
http://songsinthekeyofkibi.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Songs in the Key of KiBi. Thursday, April 30, 2009. A Birthday Message to Kibi. Dear K.,. You'll see by the date of this letter that I'm a little late in composing your birthday message. A lot of external events contributed to that - you got sick, then I got sick, we had your birthday party to plan and oversee, we went to the train museum - and before I knew it your birthday weekend had come and gone. . In any event, now you are two. Congratulations! Love you always,. Tuesday, April 28, 2009. As part ...

Songs in the Key of KiBi: That Which Is Expected Vs. That Which Is My Reality
http://songsinthekeyofkibi.blogspot.com/2009/10/that-which-is-expected-vs-that-which-is.html
Songs in the Key of KiBi. Thursday, October 1, 2009. That Which Is Expected Vs. That Which Is My Reality. I haven't had the energy to write long posts, lately, and I feel a little guilty about that, since my whole reason for doing this blog was to capture all of my adventures with Kibi before he grows up and goes off to college. Well, in the spirit of feeling both guilty AND lazy, I'm devoting today's post to this link to a story I found on my new friend Betsy's blog. Good Now, don't you just feel better?

Songs in the Key of KiBi: July 2009
http://songsinthekeyofkibi.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Songs in the Key of KiBi. Monday, July 20, 2009. Letter to the Powers that Be. Dear Nap Gods,. Please don't tell me my son is ready to give up his nap. It's been three days now, and he's not gone down like he used to do (for a glorious 2-3 hours). Granted, he has had a bit of a B.M. thing going on, so maybe it's just tummy trouble. But still, I keep hearing that voice in the back of my head, saying (like that bratty kid from the Simpsons:) "HA, ha! Your kid's losing his afternoon nap! The only consolatio...
