Busy Butterfingers: Pottery Collected
http://busybutterfingers.blogspot.com/2015/04/pottery-collected.html
All the things that happen in my crafty life. Friday, 10 April 2015. About eight weeks ago, I started a beginners pottery course. Just a bit of fun and something nice and creative to do. Today I collected my fired and glazed pieces. Ooh just noticed that handle is a little wonky! These are for putting your chopsticks on. This was the first week pot. A pinch pot. Next time I go, this one is going to be a chicken or a bird or a pear! 11 April 2015 at 04:06. 12 April 2015 at 08:47. 13 April 2015 at 11:53.

Busy Butterfingers: Twisting
http://busybutterfingers.blogspot.com/2015/04/twisting.html
All the things that happen in my crafty life. Thursday, 2 April 2015. Yesterday I went to my quilting class and cut some smaller twisters, sewed them together and had part of a border. I was asked how this worked so I have tried to show it below (plus this will greatly help me remember should I have to do this ever again by myself). Using my 4.5" squares sewn together with a 3" border. I then cut out the squares. Took away the bits I don't need (hence a huge bag of scraps, but that's for another day).

Busy Butterfingers: Pottery II
http://busybutterfingers.blogspot.com/2015/05/pottery-ii.html
All the things that happen in my crafty life. Saturday, 16 May 2015. I have started my Pottery again and have been going for three weeks (half way through). The first week I made a bird house/feeder and a tea bag holder. The second/third week my friend was visiting from London UK, so I took her along with me. We both made Fish Dishes. Last week we made Spring Roll Plates. Two more weeks to go and then I get to glaze them before their final firing. Especially love the bird feeder! 18 May 2015 at 15:58.

Busy Butterfingers: March 2015
http://busybutterfingers.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
All the things that happen in my crafty life. Monday, 30 March 2015. Today I had strict instructions to make a Minion Cake for my Smallest. Today he is eight and he designed th cake himself, down to the maltesers around the edge. Smallest didn't notice it at first and then loved it. It wasn't just what he wanted he said, it was much better. Praise indeed. I made lots of little cup cakes, at the time I didn't know why but as I was putting the cake together it came to me. More minions, looking up at us.

Busy Butterfingers: $10 quilt heart
http://busybutterfingers.blogspot.com/2015/03/10-quilt-heart.html
All the things that happen in my crafty life. Friday, 27 March 2015. This months proved to be tricky as it was part sewing and part origami (in my opinion anyway). I'm not completely happy with the results but at least I know how to do it now. In order to make the hearts a little more 'rounded' we had to kind of push the fabric up and sew (this is all very new to me). It's not the tidiest piece of sewing I have ever done but I rushed it as I need it for tomorrow and silly me left it till the last minute.

http://busybutterfingers.blogspot.com/2015/04/woyww-304-borders.html
All the things that happen in my crafty life. Wednesday, 1 April 2015. How did Wednesday happen so quickly (and why does my autocorrect want to put WEDNESDAY in capital letters? I took a photo of my desk yesterday just before I left it to take the Smallest swimming and the Small to ER (nothing broken thank goodness). I am joining in with the wonderful people of desk-hopping, desk-showing, craft wonderfulness hosted by Julia at Stamping Ground. It is definitely worth a peek. Hugs Eliza and Yoda 41. I love...
