His gun was more than likely based on the M3 37mm anti-tank gun from World War II as TimMee used an illustrated version of a 1941 USMC photograph of the gun and jeep on several header cards (See Willys Jeep. Fantasy Toy Soldiers: BLUEBOX: Pirate Crew
http://fantasytoysoldiers.blogspot.com/2015/05/bluebox-pirate-crew.html
Thursday, May 14, 2015. Makes some more fantasy themed sets. Bluebox is working on an Orcs v. Elves fantasy set. Stad's has some pictures. May 15, 2015 at 2:24 PM. Wow, these are great! I like how much detail these have, a lot better than the Skeleton Warriors Vs Pirates figures. As usual, the accessories seem way out of scale, but I really like the skull mountain non the less. May 15, 2015 at 2:27 PM. How did they fit that skull mountain in there? May 25, 2015 at 4:41 PM. How much do you want for them?

Return Of The Poacher: May 2011
http://poacher-returnofthepoacher.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
Return Of The Poacher. Monday, 9 May 2011. Campaigning Across the Board. Back on the topic of boardgames, I have managed to find one that I can tie into my interest in fictional wargames. I spent a few months searching on eBay until I found one that I thought would suit. Sunday, 8 May 2011. There And Back Again, Again. Well, it's been a while since I last posted, and a lot of things have happened over the last year, amongst them a divorce, a move from darkest Wales, a new life and a new job. The WWII-era...

Return Of The Poacher: February 2014
http://poacher-returnofthepoacher.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
Return Of The Poacher. Tuesday, 25 February 2014. It’s been a slow week or so. I have done little in the way of gaming; the solitaire C&C: Ancients battle of Raphia has not moved since last Sunday. Mostly this is down to me being too tired after work to bother much in the evenings. After my sit-ups and cross-trainers sessions, my body is as tired as my mind and I am asleep within minutes of hitting the pit. I would hate to have been the historical adviser on that film; they must have had a hell of a time...

Return Of The Poacher: July 2011
http://poacher-returnofthepoacher.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Return Of The Poacher. Sunday, 3 July 2011. I am rapidly building up the forces for this game of fictional battles between late 19th centry European nations, and now how enough infantry, cavalry and artillery to make a start on organsing and painting them. The two resin steam tanks from Ironclad Miniatures have arrived, although I have not yet made them up. I intend to do the same with the steam trucks I have bought, although single colour paint schemes will be more appropriate for this era. London war r...

Return Of The Poacher: June 2013
http://poacher-returnofthepoacher.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
Return Of The Poacher. Wednesday, 26 June 2013. How Time Flies When You Are Not Having Fun. Gosh, it's almost the end of June! The projects continue, albeit slowly. I have finished off a few more Assyrians, but after painting nearly 200 I have got a tad bored with them and wanted to start something new. I also have started collecting the Ancient Indian army but as yet that is in its infancy, with just a couple of boxes so far tossed into the big plastic bin under the work table. Torn between going to the...

Fantasy Toy Soldiers: ARCO/FLEETWOOD: The Sword & The Socerer
http://fantasytoysoldiers.blogspot.com/2014/09/arcofleetwood-sword-socerer.html
Monday, April 13, 2015. ARCO/FLEETWOOD: The Sword and The Socerer. The guy on the left's face looks a little off because he has a beard that they didn't bother to paint. These are rare unpainted versions of the monsters. These are very rare bootleg barbarians. I have no idea who made these. I got them in an ebay lot from Canada. When you put them side by side, the original guy looks suspicious and the bootleg looks sad. The painted dragons are bootlegs or some later production. March 22, 2015 at 12:13 PM.
