http://thebratfightsthefat.blogspot.com/2007/05/fooled-you.html
The Brat Fights the Fat. May 17, 2007. I bet you thought I'd disappeared again. That I'd made the big post about coming back and then fizzled out. Well. HA! Not this time baby! It's been an absolutely crazy week. It doesn't help that my biggest loser type competition. Now that I've done pathetic to the Nth degree, on a positive note. I have taken tomorrow off and Monday is a holiday, so I have a four day weekend! Posted by Krista at 8:15 AM. I can harass you if you like ;). View my complete profile.

The Brat Fights the Fat: June 2006
http://thebratfightsthefat.blogspot.com/2006_06_01_archive.html
The Brat Fights the Fat. June 22, 2006. I finished taking my first aid course and passed. I can't believe how intense the course was. I just hope I never have to use it. Haven't posted in the last couple of days as I was trying to get ready for the test. I won't be posting the again for probably a week. I'm going camping! Today is going to take forever! Have a great week! Posted by Krista at 9:44 AM. June 20, 2006. First Aid (oh, and Day 1 of 30). It was an accident! Potato Cheddar Mojos (5). Overall not...

The Brat Fights the Fat: Payback
http://thebratfightsthefat.blogspot.com/2007/02/payback.html
The Brat Fights the Fat. February 23, 2007. In the fetal position. Whining. "I'm hungry". Even though he'd just eaten 3 cups of popcorn. He was even rocking back and forth at one point. It's interesting to see a man who never seemed to eat much (besides chips and slurpees) suddenly hungry all the time. He was even cursing the TV because of all the food ads. Paybacks a bitch, ain't it honey? Posted by Krista at 12:12 PM. What I wouldn't give to have my husband live a day of my pain - I envy you!

The Brat Fights the Fat: January 2006
http://thebratfightsthefat.blogspot.com/2006_01_01_archive.html
The Brat Fights the Fat. January 31, 2006. WW Twice-Baked Garlic Potatoes. After receiving a couple of requests, here's the recipe:. 4 large baking potatoes. 1 garlic bulb (unless you really really like garlic, I'd probably use half a bulb next time). 1/2 c low-sodium chicken broth. 1/2 c nonfat sour cream. 1/2 tsp freshly ground pepper. 1/4 c grated parmesan cheese. Preheat oven to 425F. Return the potatoes to the baking sheet and bake until heated through and lightly browned, about 15 minutes. Nothing ...

The Brat Fights the Fat: Motivation, where did you go?
http://thebratfightsthefat.blogspot.com/2007/02/motivation-where-did-you-go.html
The Brat Fights the Fat. February 20, 2007. Motivation, where did you go? I haven't been a very good participant in the 2007 Challenge. I especially apologize to Tee as I haven't done anything to support and encourage my February partner. I will try to make it up to her for the rest of the month. I haven't felt very motivated and I haven't been following any of the guidelines that I need to succeed. There is a bit of light at the end of the tunnel. Of posts and reciprocation! Posted by Krista at 5:00 PM.

The Brat Fights the Fat: Rebound
http://thebratfightsthefat.blogspot.com/2007/05/rebound.html
The Brat Fights the Fat. May 31, 2007. Well, now that I'm eating again, I regained back 2.5 of the 4.5 lbs I lost. Knew it was going to happen, but happy that I didn't gain all of it back. Haven't had any pop yet, but have had some junk. Oh well. I'm still making more of an effort than I have been recently. Small steps. I'm really excited about Sunday! My daughter is very much a girly. Does she love her lip gloss. If you can't find her, chances are she's hiding under the table putting on more lipgloss.

The Brat Fights the Fat: Girls Day & Goals
http://thebratfightsthefat.blogspot.com/2007/06/girls.html
The Brat Fights the Fat. June 04, 2007. Girls Day and Goals. I had a blast on my girls day! We had our nails done. It was my first time getting fake nails (aka porno nails) and it's taking a bit of getting used to. Suddenly there are new challenges. going to the bathroom safely. doing up buttons (I'm hating the buttons). typing (big problem, I'm supposed to be keying budgeting. And I'm sure many others I haven't yet discovered. Got some new makeup to liven me up a bit for summer! Monday - Water aerobics.

The Brat Fights the Fat: July 2006
http://thebratfightsthefat.blogspot.com/2006_07_01_archive.html
The Brat Fights the Fat. July 29, 2006. Thanks for the well wishes and comments. Tylenol 3's are my friend. Antibiotics that make me nauseous are not. All in all I'm happy with the results. Posted by Krista at 2:23 PM. July 14, 2006. Taking the GIRLS for one last spin. We're going to go to BINGO (never been, should be interesting, maybe I'll win some money to pay for the evening), I'm sure we'll grab some food to soak up the alcohol, maybe to the casino and hopefully dancing! None of us will be driving!

The Brat Fights the Fat: Best/Worst Diet
http://thebratfightsthefat.blogspot.com/2007/05/bestworst-diet.html
The Brat Fights the Fat. May 29, 2007. I've lost 4.5 lbs! No all I have to do is figure out how to keep the loss once I start eating again, 'cause I don't think I'll last very long on crackers and water. Maybe I should look at this as a cleansing. On another positive note, I dragged my husband and my stepmommy. Now all I have to do is find the time to make a list and actually go shopping. Posted by Krista at 2:55 PM. Haha - that's hilarious. Glad to hear it went well, hopefully you'll be able to conv...

Small Steps to Giant Leaps
Sunday, March 22, 2015. Happy Birthday, Kevin! Today, we will celebrate my little brother's birthday. Happy 55th, Kevin! When he was a baby, the seventh for my mom and dad, my mother knew within a couple of weeks that something wasn't right. "He wasn't turning over like he should," is the one thing I remember her saying. By the time he was diagnosed, the professionals predicted he would not live beyond age 30. He was 5 or 6 when he first walked. Pretty proud of himself! And we danced at my wedding. To ca...

Asymp; 3 Comments. Just finished my 8th Tough Mudder. Last weekend, and noticed something. As it. Turns out, training for a marathon helps your cardio. Sure, that’s a “Captain Obvious” statement, but it did feel really nice to stomp the Tough Mudder. LA course and run through the finish line looking for the next 5 miles. If you haven’t participated in a Tough Mudder. Small steps add up! Maybe A Bit Too Spicy? Asymp; Leave a comment. Does this mean I should stop eating salsa or Mexican food. No. I...Spicy...
