A chronicle of my steps down the long road to self sufficiency. October 27, 2014. A few months ago now me and my boyfriend went berry picking on the common near where I live. Now we were mostly out to get blackberries because they were in season but we also stumbled across some elderberries and some sloes. So we picked those as well. I made a big 500ml jar full of blackberry jam. As well as some blackberry and elderberry flavoured vodka which is absolutely delicious. October 27, 2014. June 29, 2014.
