Was easy to spot, near the town, and adjacent to Johnsons Lake, which serves as a sea plane base. The single runway 04/22 is in good condition, and is 4493 feet long. There is an aviation maintenance engineer located on the field. We stayed at the Companion Hotel. One block east of the hotel is the Hearst Heritage Sawmill;.
