Dave's Finally Getting with the Times Blog. The rantings of an old man. Get off my lawn! Friday, October 31, 2008. I bought the Iron Gym pull-up bar at Bed Bath and Beyond yesterday. I had a $10 off $30 coupon so it only cost $20 plus tax. It took about 10 minutes to put together. I put it up on the doorway, and found out that I could only do 2 pull-ups in a row. So sad. McDonald's McRib is suppose to be back, but it's nowhere to be found in Southern California. Wendy's though, has these new Flavor-Dipped Chicken Sandwiches. It comes in either Buffalo, or BBQ. One-way communication about my life. Monday, May 31, 2010. I've been having joint pains stemming from my tummy swelling days, and I was hoping things would improve over time. It's been over two months since Popo came out and my joints are still ache-y when I walk or stand around for a long time (like over 30 mins), and it's hard to sleep on my side. Then I tried yoga. I thought yoga would help me build up my endurance, and I'd regain a bit more mobility w/ my ache-y joints, you know? Sunday, May 30, 2010.

I don't think I really liked them as a kid. but the hate started when Erikku left banana peels lying around O-house, and they were rotting! And the room/house smelled like rotten bananas! Gives me the shivers even remembering that smell. I swore off bananas. And we were pretty happy with that. Until Popo got active and restless. And I've been finding ways to keep her quiet. Well, the fridge isn't so bad.

One-way communication about my life. Sunday, September 19, 2010. Dream Recaps: Que and a Wedding. It was a while back (2-3 weeks ago? But I saw a dream where Que was alive. We were all attending a wedding, and Que was one of the groomsmen. I'm not sure where the location was, but it either looked like a college campus (w/ pillars and such) or a Catholic church. And even though I usually see very colorful dreams, this one had a very black and white feel (altho I think there must have been some color).

Like Westside P's food court play area. And WBC's ballpit. Anyhoo, even if Popo gets sick, it doesn't necessarily hit the rest of the household. Sometimes (like 50%) it hits じゅるる. Usually they'll ask hot or mild at the drive-thru, and I say hot because the Del Scorcho isn't that hot. This time though I found two different sauces in my bag.
