Practical Pistol and Handgun. Click an event for more info. Practical Pistol and Handgun" competition is a fun way to develop, practice, or hone your skills for safe and proficient handling and firing of handguns. Shooting is done on a specified course of shoot and non-shoot targets. Scoring is based on speed, accuracy, and completion of the course in the order and manner specified. Shooting begins at 10:00 AM and is usually done about 12:00 PM. It's a fast and fun game of self- defense type shooting.
