Click an event for more info. Safety Briefing at 9AM. All new shooters MUST attend the briefing! Entry fee is $25 per class run, payable in CASH only. Shooters must bring gloves to help reset targets when not shooting. All shooters AND spectators must have hearing and eye protection. The match is designed around standard submachine gun calibers. The Mainville Marauders is a group formed within the Mainville Sportsman Club to establish Cowboy Action Shooting and to take part in the fun of using the firearms of the American Frontier in competition events likened to those of the old west. In all cases we are limited to lead bullets fired with reduced loads. We shoot at steel targets of various shapes. Most are square plates and they are set at distances from 10 to 25 yards. It is a very informative class and everyone is welcome to attend, even for those who already have a license. Practical Pistol and Handgun. Click an event for more info. Practical Pistol and Handgun" competition is a fun way to develop, practice, or hone your skills for safe and proficient handling and firing of handguns. Shooting is done on a specified course of shoot and non-shoot targets. Scoring is based on speed, accuracy, and completion of the course in the order and manner specified. Shooting begins at 10:00 AM and is usually done about 12:00 PM. It's a fast and fun game of self- defense type shooting.

Click an event for more info. No events currently scheduled. All shooters must use a 12 gauge shotgun. There will be 15 shooters per round. Judges decisions are final. Shooters will be shooting paper targets with a center X. The shooter with the closest BB to the X is the winner of designated prize for that round. Matches generally involve courses where the shooter must move through different stages, and engage targets in a variety of different positions.
