I love winter, the snow, the cold, snuggling, everything, even shoveling. So I was disappointed to hear this winter would have below normal snow fall and pleasantly. We have had a first recently. Even though all the kids have been to a wedding (most when they were only a few months old), they got to go and see a wedding and understand it this time. We got to celebrate with Alicia and Pete as they got married in March. The couple looked beautiful and we had fun enjoying the day with them. New Year, New Things. Here it is the end of January. I am posting to let you know that we are in the midst of some fun changes. During one of our Christmas Eve services, while I was working, I was presented with the opportunity to take a new position overseeing all of kidMinistry. At one of LCBC's. One bonus with this job is I will have Saturdays off starting in March, woo- hoo. And I get a "real" office, not just a cubicle. Bread, 100s of butter creams, and enjoyed the snow. (I miss it now).

I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter. We had fun and got to see Mom-mom and Pop-pop when they came out for a visit Saturday night into Sunday. We painted Easter eggs on Saturday. We had a fun for Birthdays and are getting ready to slow down to summertime pace! Here are the latest pics from the crew. We started off with Hannah's Birthday, April 1st (3 years old). Went on to Lizzie's day on April 22nd (she turned 7) with a surprise visit from Mom-Mom and Pop-Pop after school. Here is her "friends party" with her buddy Alyssa. We had an Ariel, Under the Sea, theme and played Crab Soccer, Sharks and Minnows, Find the Treasures, and of course enjoyed cake and presents. This says it all.

I have not posted since September, wow! Well, we have been having a blast here! September was wonderful with school starting and I am enjoying my quiet afternoons with my "baby" wow! It is so fun having just her with me while we do errands and go to city campus (anything to avoid a nap of course). I love when we drop Jackson off for afternoon kindergarten and suggest we go food shopping and she says that is great or "you've got it mom" as long as I don't mention the nap! Our accomplishment this month was our Anniversary trip. Joe and I took a cruise to the Western Caribbean for our 10 year Anniversary. We had such a great time spending time together as husband and wife, not mommy and daddy. (We did miss these roles throughout though). We decided after our last cruise 7 years ago, that we were going to do another for our 10 year with Jenn and Eric Smedberg. Again; and so we DID! The kids were well taken care of thanks to wonderful relatives and they all had a great time.
