Growing older, free time, and more yarn than I could ever use up in a lifetime if I were 40 years younger! Monday, October 22, 2007. A Great Evening at Angel Hair Yarns. Tonight was simply wonderful! Despite the heavy rains, Angel Hair was pretty crowded and I think we all enjoyed ourselves - especially being able to stay and shop afterward. That is always a joy! October 22, 2007 at 9:52 PM. Knitting Grandma: My trip to Denver
http://knittingrandma.blogspot.com/2007/11/my-trip-to-denver.html
Growing older, free time, and more yarn than I could ever use up in a lifetime if I were 40 years younger! Monday, November 5, 2007. My trip to Denver. I just spent the most wonderful six days in Denver taking care of my granddaughter, Ruthie. What a little doll! She was such a good girl while her mommy and daddy were vacationing in Hawaii. And what fun we had! It wasn't easy getting her out of there. We also saw a real fire engine there. Here is Ruthie - the fireman. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

http://knittingrandma.blogspot.com/2007/11/oh-what-beautiful-monday.html
Growing older, free time, and more yarn than I could ever use up in a lifetime if I were 40 years younger! Monday, November 12, 2007. Oh what a "beautiful " Monday. It's Monday again - and it's almost over. And what did I do today? Well, I went to Weight Watchers - gained a half pound. Nice way to start my day. I can't complain, I lost 3.4 pounds last week. Must be water retention - who knows - could be poop retention. I've stayed pretty much on course today. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Knitting Grandma: March 2007
http://knittingrandma.blogspot.com/2007_03_01_archive.html
Growing older, free time, and more yarn than I could ever use up in a lifetime if I were 40 years younger! Thursday, March 22, 2007. It was Girls Day Out for lunch at Ruby Tuesday's. On the way home from lunch, the accountant's office called to say my taxes were done. Had to make a detour there - good news and bad news. I hate tax time! The shawl is back in the bag. I made to Row 40 last night and messed up again. It can live there for a few days - there are other projects to be worked on. This is my ver...

read it and wheeze: I think I'm obsessed
http://readitandwheeze.blogspot.com/2009/04/i-think-im-obsessed.html
Read it and wheeze. Monday, April 13, 2009. I think I'm obsessed. About 2 weeks ago, I attended a session with Lynne Vogel of Twisted Sisters fame at Haus of Yarn. Here in Nashville. The whole class was absolutely fantastic. We learned about mixing colors and fun techniques. Lynne showed Erin. And I the finer points of spinning sock yarn, and boy howdy, did I take to heart! And was I right! I managed to get 647 yds onto a 4 oz bobbin! And you know what this means, right? I can spin sock yarn!

read it and wheeze: January 2009
http://readitandwheeze.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Read it and wheeze. Wednesday, January 14, 2009. Lots of spinning and knitting as of late. I'm working on a top-down raglan in which the body is already finished, but the one picture I have of it isn't so hot. I'll try to get a good one up soon. I've been making lots of that! This is up in my etsy shop, as is this:. On the post Christmas, knitting for me front, I took some handspun and made myself a cowl yesterday, while recovering from a migraine. It's the Wham Bam Thank You Lamb neckwarmer.

Obsessions: let me show you them. April 27, 2010. If any of you know me personally, you are probably aware that I become insanely excited and passionate about random things that cross my path, usually in the craft world (also, ABBA – I am always passionately dedicated to ABBA). My current obsession is: LACE. You guys, why didn’t you tell me how awesome it is? I sprained my back spinning in a bad chair – truth! OBSESSED, I TELL YOU! Right Or, at least that’s what I’ve told myself. So, in the meantime, I&#...
