Life in Black and White: March 2013
http://forloveofmykids.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Friday, March 29, 2013. Middle Of the Night Snoring. What held him there? The people jeered, saying if He was really the Son of God he would get off the cross. But he said nothing. He only asked for their, for our, forgiveness and declared the finish. I need to blog more often. And I will. But for tonight I am leaving with this:. New International Version (NIV). 8220;Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting? Shannon a.k.a. that thing you see moving under the laundry. New and Improve...

Life in Black and White: March 2012
http://forloveofmykids.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Monday, March 12, 2012. I have a goiter on my thyroid. No idea why. I will find out later this week. Please pray that the truth behind all my weird body symptoms come to light soon. Thanks. I promise, pics are coming. I am working through them. I am up to Halloween now. So soon I should have some just plain old picture posts from the last 8 months. Life in Black and White: August 2011
http://forloveofmykids.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 29, 2011. A Day To Remember. Thank you Jesus, for being faithful to my kids even when I am not. Thank you for your covenant promises to families and for your love for me. I am not lovable, yet you not only love me, but adore me, dance over me, and rejoice over me with singing. Your glory has yet again been revealed in your goodness by calling Jordan to yourself. Life in Black and White: I.Hate.Potty.Training.
http://forloveofmykids.blogspot.com/2012/05/ihatepottytraining.html
Thursday, May 31, 2012. Who would have thought, but JW is the first to begin the process. Two weeks later he still isn't full on potty trained. Hmph. (Why he couldn't be an overnight potty-trainer like his sister? This morning he woke up at his usual 6:30 wake up time. Butt naked. Pajamas laid neatly on the floor beside his bed. Nearly dry diaper with them. Pee on the carpet. Said area rug is now sunning to bleach the smell out. Later we went for a walk where he stayed dry the whole time. Yay! I am bless...

Life in Black and White: October 2011
http://forloveofmykids.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Monday, October 31, 2011. I am not a patient person by nature. I am a yeller; I got that lovely generational sin from my dad. I am short tempered and quick to just discipline with no follow through. But they deserve more. This is one of the blog posts I read today that has me on my knees now. Thank you Tara Figgins for posting this:. She titled it "These Children, They Mold Me.". Never ceasing to pray for her own crooked heart. The weary and the wearing away and it the most beautiful part. I still lack a...

Life in Black and White: Heirs with Christ
http://forloveofmykids.blogspot.com/2012/07/heirs-with-christ.html
Wednesday, July 25, 2012. The other day during some playful wrestling with the kids Scott said "Who's your daddy? You know, the famous phrase meaning "HA! Well Micah jumped up, grinned so big I think her face could hurt, pointed at Scott and said "You are my daddy! Romans 8 tells us this: "Now if we are children, then we are heirs. Of God and co- heirs. I was immediately taken to the thought of adoption. Sin unleashed in hell. That is what we are saved from. And what do we become? Micah bodly calling Sco...

Life in Black and White: The Battlefield
http://forloveofmykids.blogspot.com/2012/07/front-lines.html
Monday, July 2, 2012. I have been thinking a lot lately about war because my baby bro just got back from Afghanastan. The same day he left war, an old college friend was shot down while flying his helicopter and is at Walter Reed with broken bones, expected to live but not to walk for about six months. This came to mind on the way home from our family vacation. I think it is worth penning to have for me to read whenever I need to. Sin unleashed = scary, scary thought. Every thing I am scared of here ...

Life in Black and White: To My Eldest
http://forloveofmykids.blogspot.com/2012/09/to-my-eldest.html
Friday, September 21, 2012. I watched you walk into school today, and the realization that you are walking away from me was ever too clear. Watching my first born grow up is so bittersweet. The joy you feel when you learned to tie your shoes, oh baby girl, I felt it too! Shannon a.k.a. that thing you see moving under the laundry. September 21, 2012 at 2:00 PM. Life in Black and White: November 2011
http://forloveofmykids.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 6, 2011. Like Talking To a 5 Year Old. Micah recently got a little mouse purse from Gymboree. Jordan has coveted it in the most sinful manner possible. Yesterday the babies broke Jordan's piggy bank so I promised her a new one, a little shopping trip per se, while the babies napped. This is the conversation that transpired last night. Jordan (with much sobbing and tears): I want a mouse purse! Jordan: But I want a mouse purse! Jordan, still sobbing has begun to thrash about a bit. In som...

Life in Black and White: April 2012
http://forloveofmykids.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 30, 2012. Looks like I need to go back to July. Sad slackness on my part. Okay, Jordan turned 5. We figured out that walking around the block and climbing dogwood trees is super fun. Micah took a long trip up someone's driveway. When I realized she wasn't anywhere in sight, I yelled for her. JW happily embraced his sis. It was so cute. Very sweet. About all I can get of JW these days. Usually if he sees the camera in my hand he is running the other direction. Tuesday, April 17, 2012. Six Ki...
