Library Diva's Guide to Volunteering…. November 17, 2011} Library Diva’s checking out…. In another week, I’ll cease managing library volunteers and begin my new duties in managing volunteers who assist the elderly. It’s been a good run. 5 years of crazy stories as you may have read and 5 years of smiles and frustration but a good 5 years none the less. Haven’t decided on the name yet, but I’m sure “Senior Diva” will be in the title somewhere🙂. Cheers Thanks for reading! Time for a Martini! You are comme...

Adventures in the library. Laquo; A public service announcement. It is always Colorful in my Library……. Inventory continues in my Library….Look what I found when I picked up an entire history set of books to clean and inventory them……. This is an example of what student helpers and REALLY big erasers were meant for….kidding….I removed it myself. If I asked a student to remove the grafftti, photos of it would have been all over campus in 2.5 seconds. Explore posts in the same categories:. You are commenti...

Library Diva's Guide to Volunteering…. June 7, 2011} Smells like Teen Spirit! I stopped in our TeenZone to give a pep talk on volunteering and go over the policies and procedures to our Teen Advisory Board and when I walked in the room I didn’t expect almost 20 kids in there! I was dually impressed that all stereotypes were represented! I felt like I was in the library with a meeting of the Breakfast Club. Tigerlily @ 7:47 pm [filed under Creative Ideas. Tuesday, August 14, 2012. A Note about Webseries. Lately I am all about webseries. Maybe it is because regular TV does not do it for me. Maybe it is because my TV watching attention span is super limited by my reading and game playing time. Whatever, I am hooked. I just wanted to take some time to point out some of my faves. I am always open to suggestions, so if you happen to know of a good one, drop me a comment! The show that started it all for me:. Here is the link:. Check it out here. Billed as The ...

She already knows from touching the fabric of their clothes! So don't read this if you are looking for a good mystery. I wish more time would have been spent examining Clare's gift and I am a little sad that there is a way to rid oneself of this gift. It's a great gift! So, not too shabby (chic?
