Monday, July 12, 2010. Dr Jim Lyles grew up riding horses and herding cows on a ranch in west Texas and was the oldest of three boys. He showed champion steers and lambs in the. 4-H Club in McCamey while being active in band, photography and church. Rodeoing and ranch life taught him the value of hard work.
