Friday, July 22, 2011. Fishboy Progress - Proportion Test. A series of quick tests done for the main character in Project Fishboy that we're currently working on. Tried out different body proportions using ZSpheres. We finally agreed on a tall, slender figure with a slight hunch and a long-ish protruding neck. Joe Alter [the same guy responsible for the popular 'Shave and A Haircut' plugin] has released new information about his next big thing, LBrush - which seems to be incorporated into their LipService package. Essentially it's corrective sculpting through PSDs [pose-space deformers], but at a subpoly level, allowing you to sculpt in corrective blendshapes much like Mudbox or Zbrush.
