One tiny voice of frustration. I Am The Black Sheep. No, After You. I once worked with an eccentric old character who had a scrolling screen saver on his desktop that said “Change is good. You go first.”. Smart Funny. True…. But I’ve had my ass kicked by change… four downsizings, marital problems, going broke, my son’s struggle with Crohn’s disease and asthma. So it’s hard for me to see change as a good thing. The harder I try to control my life, or the lives of those around me, the less I accomplish.

Despite being shattered from a busy week and a late night with the family last night, K and I were both ridiculously happy to spend lunchtime with our little gang of friends again – it kind of felt like old times, meeting up and hanging out together as a group twice in the space of just over a week. Or maybe you didn’t have any plans, it’s just one of those days where EVERYTHING is against you. We ALL have! What most of us don’t seem to realize is that it only takes one little ray of sunshine to make the rainiest of days a million times better.
