Bird business: Christmas Gifts--the Getaway
http://birdbusiness.blogspot.com/2014/01/christmas-gifts-getaway.html
Tuesday, January 21, 2014. Christmas Gifts- the Getaway. One of the gifts that Steve and I got the kids was a package of tickets. Inside were tickets to a basketball game- The Jazz v. Milwaukee Bucks. The Jazz were victorious! It's so fun when the team you are rooting for actually wins! At half-time the girls and I found the playground. Only in Utah. Our seats were pretty high, but being in the stadium with the jumbo-tron and the lights and the music was enough fun for us. Grandpa and Grandma Alleman!

Bird business: Braxton's Eagle Project
http://birdbusiness.blogspot.com/2014/01/braxtons-eagle-project.html
Thursday, January 9, 2014. Braxton prepared a 10 minute presentation along with a guest speaker (our Bishop who is the head of the ER at the local hospital) about the need for donating blood, how to prepare, answers to commonly asked questions, etc. He gave this at a humanitarian day held at our ward building. Here he is holding the Heartland Blood Center calendar where Lizzie and I were featured for the month of July because of my birth story. Some were in the nursery. This was the welcoming party.

Bird business: May 2013
http://birdbusiness.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
Monday, May 20, 2013. This sweet, beautiful girl had a wonderful day on April 20th, 2013. She was baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. A friend of ours who was raised in the church until she was 12 was quizzing her a bit to see if she understood what she was doing and called to tell me how impressed she was by Emma's answers. Phew! My magnificent eternal family! We are so blessed! Emma's cousin, Max, really wanted a picture with her. What a sweetie! Sunday, May 19, 2013. Emma kn...

Bird business: Happy Halloween 2013
http://birdbusiness.blogspot.com/2014/01/happy-halloween-2013.html
Wednesday, January 8, 2014. For Halloween, we had. Taylor Swift- in fact, Emma would even perform at the door and sing "22" when anyone would ask her who she was. From Studio C, of course! Here are all 3 who were still dressed up at night. Evan had a party where he got 2nd in the pumpkin carving contest and 2nd in the costume contest, but ripped it up on the dance floor! This is pretty good, if I do say so myself! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). My life, my love. View my complete profile.

Bird business: December the 25th
http://birdbusiness.blogspot.com/2014/01/december-25th.html
Saturday, January 18, 2014. I love this picture because you can see who would have rather slept in a bit more and who couldn't wait for Christmas morning! Life will be so different in a few years.). I believe Santa did OK in filling some of the wishes of the kids. Braxton got Percy Jackson's Sea of Monsters, Evan got his own ripstick so that he doesn't have to get mad at Carter when he wants to ride his other one. Carter got a fuzzy BYU blanket, a "Y" mug, and a BYU sports necklace. Carter got Lizzie mar...

Bird business: Thanksgiving in ELKO
http://birdbusiness.blogspot.com/2014/01/thanksgiving-in-elko.html
Thursday, January 9, 2014. It has been 10 years since we have had Thanksgiving at my mom and dad's! I was so excited to go back home! The kids were even more excited because they had cousins waiting for them! We all watched some football, basketball, movies, and ate, and talked a lot. Friday, my Dad had us visit the Pioneer Trail Center just outside of Elko. It's a great interactive museum that we all enjoyed. The pioneers were quite resourceful in coming up with ways to measure distance and create maps.

Bird business: Fall in Idaho 2013
http://birdbusiness.blogspot.com/2014/01/fall-in-idaho-2013.html
Wednesday, January 8, 2014. Fall in Idaho 2013. Our Fall in Idaho started out similarly to our other falls. Cooler nights, school, soccer, and football. Lizzie's skills really improved as she became one of the key players on her team scoring up to 4 goals in one game! Evan's experience was not the greatest. He was not played much (despite the rules) and right as the coaches claimed to see him putting his heart into it, he rebroke his collarbone, putting him out for the latter half of the season. Steve an...

Bird business: Hair today, gone tomorrow
http://birdbusiness.blogspot.com/2014/01/hair-today-gone-tomorrow.html
Thursday, January 9, 2014. Hair today, gone tomorrow. Two years ago, Halloween 2011, Emma was Rapunzel. He had this gorgeous, long, wavy blonde hair. She was the perfect Rapunzel- no wig required. As soon as Trick-or-treating was over, she couldn't stop talking about donating her hair to Locks of Love. That Friday, she donated 16 inches. Here she is before. They put the hair in 3 ponytails, 1 on each side and 1 thick one in the back. We ended with this. Now, it's darling. Emma LOVES it! My life, my love.

Gaggle Of Gees: March 2015
http://flockofgees.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, March 8, 2015. Can I just say what a crazy day February 28th was? Let me preface this story by stating that on Thursday, both David's car and our kitchen sink broke. Friday was a one-car, no-sink kind of a day. Do I need to elaborate on that? I didn't think so. Knowing what kind of a day we had in store, and needing to get the van back to David by 6:30 am, I went grocery shopping pre-6:00. I busted my tail, but still took too long and had to seriously rush to get David out the door. And 3) David ...
