Thursday, July 25, 2013. Several months ago, Playette brought home a dixie cup from school with a seed in it and instructions to plant. So BD took care of that. Well, not really. I can barely keep myself alive, let alone a flower-like thingee.). Nothing happened for a long time. And now we have this. I say it's a (taller than the fence) monster weed. He says it's a sunflower. Saturday, November 2, 2013. We supported a 5K today. It was a fundraiser for the two teams with members with special needs on the cheerleading squad in which Playette participates. A couple of friends from my running group joined us, which was great. The three of us did the race while BD, Playette and Dez served as cheerleaders. But we all made it to the end. We had fun and raised money. Mission accomplished. The little girl spoke up and asked her mother question. Why didn't I have the perfect words?

Thursday, June 10, 2010. We finally have a diagnosis! Lots of news in the last month! Andy had to go back to the hospital a few weeks ago. From the start it was a much easier stay than we've had in almost a year. He had the beginnings of pneumonia, but his oxygen levels were still high. We went to a regular room not ICU! We are trying to stay realistic and not get our hopes to high, but we all feel very optomitic about the future! Right now, Andy is doing so well! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Designer Diva…I'm hand crafted by God and I've got the genes to prove it. A mother's discovery that a child with Down syndrome is still a child like any other. My last year of being a PreK’er. My baby is four! My angel is healthy (although she is having surgery next week, nothing life threatening (adenoids and tonsillectomy) so please keep us in your thoughts and prayers, she gives and readily accepts love so what more can a mom wish for.
