This morning Sarah and I are headed off on a road trip to tour Campbell University, the school she is considering transferring to when she graduates from the Community College in the spring. (It’s about 200 miles away.) That basically means that the College Countdown has begun; one year from now, she will be moving out of our house. Treasuring those moments . . . Monday, June 22, 2015. On Saturday I ran the Niagara 50K Ultra. Part of the Ontario Ultra Series. It was an early start, getting up at 3:30 am to make it there for kit pick up and the 7 am start. Zero traffic at that time of the morning (night) which is great. Mile splits for the first 6 miles were 8:38; 8:32; 8:37; 8:41; 8:33 and 8:33 for a 6 mile split of 51:34.
