Life at 33 degrees above 0. Saturday, March 6, 2010. The AZ desert still continues to amaze me! The spring rains have given the hills around Phoenix a nice hue of green. Today we went up to Lake Pleasant to do a hike we did on the first of January. I have pictures of it from an earlier post. So fun to see the difference! It was like a brand new hike! I have an almost identical picture from 2 months ago down in my blog. Thought it was cool to contrast! I love the fresh spring green! Our table below :).

He said he could get us seats and I was amazed when he followed through! It was truly a ton of fun! The big surprise was the quality of the seats! Life at 33 degrees above 0. Tuesday, January 26, 2010. Last Monday I didn't have school so I drove up to Indian Mesa to go hiking. It is about 20 miles north of Phoenix and was a nice 6 mile hike. I loved the view of the lake and walking around the walls of the old dwellings and wondering what life must have been like. It must have been horrible to carry water up from the river! Life at 33 degrees above 0. Friday, February 20, 2009. Today was a gorgeous day! 50 degrees and sunny and spring fever hit me hard! All the below pictures were taken today on my phone. This is my first experiment with planting pansies in the fall rather than the spring. I have been so happy with the results! Everytime the snow melts off them they are there to greet me with their blooms. They still look healthy and I'm expecting they will look even better as the weather truely warms. I also loved the bird of paradise growing to the left of the entrance. This is the back of the home from the alley. He liked first place two years ago better! Last year he didn't get told about the Pinewood Derby so we had our own at Kieran's Eagle Court of Honor. This year I was the narrator and Jemma was the black sheep. The girls alternate years at being Mary or angel and the boys take turns at the parts of Joseph and shepherd. Tuesday, August 11, 2015. Hudson at 5 months. Hudson is five months old! His head/neck control is improving every day! He still favors looking toward the left but is a good boy and works hard. He has physical therapy twice a week. Sometimes Ms Jenna lets him watch a "baby movie" on her dvd (in order to bribe him to look to the right). He visually tracks things well and especially likes toys that play music and/or light up! He loves the attention when strangers talk to him and usually smiles and flirts.
