8230; most of the time. March 9, 2011. Things we liked to do in New Port Burquitlam …. A couple of friends are relocating to Port Moody. Jason and I have been reminiscing about all the good, pre-children times we had in this place. We had such fun together here while Jason finished off University. We rode our bikes a lot, spent all of our spare cash on our gardens, drank and caroused every night and lived on $20 000 a year. Wow! Cioffis on Hastings – More surly servers, really expensive balsamic vi...

8230; most of the time. February 11, 2011. I have so much homework these days, I am getting the ‘I am forgetting something’ nights terrors of 17 years ago. Oscar has become enamored of Clone Wars these days. I am treated each day to in-depth discussions about the heady issues of war. We talk about the fact that droids can be killed and resembled, while clones are people and are killed forever. (Sheesh! Elliott, despite all his badness, has excelled in his music lessons. He very much enjoys singing at...

Remembrance Day … | RunningWithoutScissors
https://runningwithoutscissors.wordpress.com/2010/11/23/remembrance-day
8230; most of the time. November 23, 2010. Remembrance Day …. We are just back from a trip to visit GG and GP in Didsbury. We came home to a big dump of snow and some god-awful cold. I am wishing that I had spent as much care putting together snow gear for myself as I did with the kids. I can’t bear to even open the front door. How is it even possible to be caught off guard by the weather? Have we not the Internet, the weather channel, even the radio to tell us the weather forcast? Enter your comment here.

8230; most of the time. Monthly Archives: October 2010. October 17, 2010. October 17, 2010. Walking through the falling leaves …. Just a few pictures. Bigger post when I have more time. Oscar takes a large stump on all his walks now, so that he has a clean place to sit and take a breathing break. Nothing is quite as fun as watching a four-year-old lug a stump up hills, over logs and through streams just so he can avoid getting his bum wet taking a rest. Stop at the hydrant to do a little fireman rap.
