http://prashanthchengi.livejournal.com/69997.html
A sysadmin writers journal about things geeky and not. First 100k ride in Sweden in 2015. March 29th, 2015. I started off on a song. The weather was near perfect and the wind very light. I flew on for a while, not even having to look at the GPS, pretty much all the way till Skonbergavägen, as Id done that ride on my Fixie. I passed Hackefors, not long after that. 2015-03-30 01:33 am (UTC). 2015-04-19 03:23 pm (UTC). 2015-03-30 10:43 am (UTC). I'm hoping the knee is more comfortable. In India, I guess...

Kashmiri Rotis - feel nothing experience everything
http://deepsan.livejournal.com/141713.html
Kashmiri Rotis - feel nothing experience everything. Jan 13th, 2010 08:56 pm. Making Kashmiri rotis: these rotis were slightly sweet and tasted best right out of the tandoor. Kashmiri roti being made at a shop in Sonamarg; Jammu and Kashmir, India. Part of 'The Trip/2007', Aug/Sep/Oct/Nov. 2010-01-13 10:48 pm (UTC). Does look like there is a non-zero probability of some customer finding cigarette ash with the roti. :-). 2010-01-15 05:12 am (UTC). 2010-01-14 04:03 am (UTC). Oh yum. now I want some!

The last trip to Denali national park - Elephas maximus. 01 August 2010 @ 07:33 pm. The last trip to Denali national park. Mt McKinley / Denali as seen near Wonder Lake (photographed by Wendy Turner). A piece of prehistory and history. Interesting or not, the same commentary on the return journey probably means that you should use the service only once? Optional commentary on head phones would probably be better? Now, that is something amazing. Well done ARR! With twenty-four hours of sunshine such times...

Engineer, pilot, feminist, mother, etc. Prevent tipping accidents - anchor furniture around kids! Jun 29th, 2016 at 8:37 AM. I read that IKEA is recalling dressers because people don't anchor them to walls and the dressers fall over and crush little kids, and wanted to write this post about my feelings, and I hope it gets shared a bit. The IKEA recall is a step, but recalls aren't 100% complied with and IKEA is only one company. The page Meghan's Hope. Brace It For Brayden. On and on and on. I wondered i...

Word of the Day. Any time now, OK? Mar 8th, 2014 at 8:22 PM. I'm pretty sure I mentioned that my antibiotic has been tearing up my stomach, right? I mean, between the way my stomach feels and the fact that it's given me diarrhea I've lost 3lbs, maybe more, since Tuesday. It's not fun, but I can live with it. If you can't read about vomit skip the next paragraph. You can resume reading now. I'm not going to say my life is without its positives right now. I'm getting stuff done despite having things pr...

Smile and Let the Whole Wide Wonder Why! Movie Critique 2016 01/02/2016: Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Jan 2nd, 2016 at 8:46 PM. Continuing with the critiques I started in 2015, here is the next in series – a movie review. What follows is the beautiful melding of both plots - fight between The First Order and The Resistance, the hunt to find Luke Skywalker and eventually good coming out on the top with a lot of casualties, some shocking and many expected. The movie ends with an open-ended question ab...

Sing It: How Lovely to Be a Woman?
http://360sing.blogspot.com/2009/03/how-lovely-to-be-woman.html
Messaging, Marketing, and Advertising in the Digital World. Tuesday, March 24, 2009. How Lovely to Be a Woman? Last night while viewing a rerun of The King of Queens. I caught a glimpse of the new Walmart cosmetics commercial. Women in various states of beautifying themselves with cosmetic products as "How Lovely to Be a Woman" from Bye Bye Birdie. Is revealed at the conclusion. Lip gloss if I'm feeling particularly sassy that morning. Was I being overly cynical? I doubt that's what Walmart is hoping for.

Master Suite makeover - Voyage of dreams
http://voyageofdreams.livejournal.com/300421.html
19th Apr, 2013 at 4:17 PM. When we bought the house last October t he walls in the master bedroom were baby blue, the ceiling was blue, the carpet was a worn shaggy grey colour, and because of the layout of plugs in the room, there was a large tv armoire in front of the beautiful bank of windows to the back yard. (They had a queen bed in the master). And then it became ours. Ummm I have no explanation for the wall upon wall of photos in this house but to say my family is beautiful. I made the wreath with...
