Monday, February 14, 2011. My Girls (Happy Valentine's Day). Every holiday I think, "What was I doing last year on "(today it's Valentine's Day). Last year I was alone in DC while the girls visited family here in Idaho, and I posted a very lonely entry about how empty life was without my girls. Thankfully, that's not the case this year. She still has her confident strut. It's changed since the first time she walked up to me and a group of my friends demanding to know what we would give her for coveri...

Saturday, February 26, 2011. Oh what do you do in the winter time when all the ground is snow? The sun only shines for a few minutes 1 or 2 days a week. It is cold, cold, cold! Kayt and Ella got their daddy's love for the outdoors. There were a few times Kayt said, "this the best day ever! It was such a great day. I think a highlight of the day was the Flamm girls trying to start a fire in the snow without paper in wind. We were so close.thank you Kent for coming to the rescue! Personalize a photo album.

Monday, September 15, 2014. Honeymoon/1 year Anniversary Day 3. April 13, 2014. Day 3 started very early, thank goodness that Aunt Sheri is a morning person otherwise we wouldn't have made it to the airport to pick up our car to drive to Miami. This made us feel like real adults. Renting a car.it wasn't my favorite experience but grateful for the transportation to Miami from Orlando. At the airport we returned the car, gathered our luggage and set out to find a taxi to the port. Jared's face little up li...

Monday, May 24, 2010. The funny things kids say. The three little girls are the culprits of the story). This past year Kayt has been in a coop preschool with some LDS ladies that live near us. It has been a fantastic experience for both of us. The other moms are very dedicated and really know how to teach. I struggle to perform at their level but try. Little girl 1: you can't say Penus. Little girl 2: or vagina (slight pause) But you can say VIRGINIA! Little girl 1: And Utah.I used to live in Utah. We di...

Thursday, February 3, 2011. If you have to have three feet of snow on the ground for 6 months you might as well make the most of it right? How does a big sledding hill, horse drawn sleigh rides, snow painting, snow bowling, digging for burried treasure and a polar bear dip sound? Thank goodness for the hot chocolate! Sounds like you guys had fun. These are definitely some of the things that I miss about living in a small town where creativity and fun is abundant. February 4, 2011 at 1:00 PM.

Sunday, February 28, 2010. The whole meeting today seemed to be about putting your priorities in the right spot. He gave some final thoughts in Relief Society as well. He told us that sometimes you need to sit back and refocus on your goal instead of doubling our efforts to make up for the goal we aren't reaching. It was a fantastic meeting that made me realize I need to put the Lord first in all things in my life. Anyway, I thought I would share. Love to you all. Monday, February 15, 2010. Honestly, in ...

Tuesday, January 19, 2010. A REPUBLICAN WON IN MASSACHUSETTS! Friday, January 15, 2010. So I can't decide what to title this post. And it is more a Kristen thinking out loud trying to digest the weeks events. I had a new nephew born Tuesday night. His name is Emmett Jared Erickson. He is the son of my brother just younger than me and brave wife Cassie. Emmett was delivered by an emergency C-section at 26 1/2 weeks. He weighs 1 lb 15 oz. and is just longer than Jared's hand. I wanted so badly to be there ...

Monday, April 26, 2010. What's a Tax Season Widow to Do? I took advantage of some cheap tickets to go home and spend a couple weeks with my fam. The only bummer was that Virginia got the biggest snow storm in history so Scott was home some of the time while I was gone but what do you do? We also got to watch Sarah and Cassie play their last few games of Basketball. It has been great being able to cheer them on. Crazy that it is all over. Here are some shots of the super stars. The Book of Luke....Based on a True Story: Honeymoon/1 year Anniversary ~ Day 5
http://teamluke13.blogspot.com/2015/04/honeymoon1-year-anniversary-day-5.html
Sunday, April 12, 2015. Honeymoon/1 year Anniversary Day 5. We woke up, got breakfast and headed out to get a chair on the deck. It was pretty crowded since it was day at sea. Jared and I enjoyed time in the sun. Sipping on lemonade, reading, listening to music, and eating ice cream. We put on sunscreen, but only once. OOPS. we got a little too much sun. We decided to get out of the sun a little bit and go eat lunch. We went to a cooking demonstration. You can barely see it but it was a beautiful sunset.
