September 10, 2013. DIY Pedal Spike Install. I dig my Grip King Pedals. Truth be told though, they’re not quite as grippy when they’re wet. Pedal spikes are the remedy. I didn’t have very good luck with the “just drill then screw-in” suggestion on the Riv site, so I decided to do a more thorough installation of my pedal spikes. One of our favorite traditions is to clean up from dinner and head out to look at our favorite Christmas lights. We do it probably three or four times a week. This year there have been two standouts: a house that is literally around the corner from us, and then the drive through lights at Adventure Church! Such a great year so far!
