He fit every stereotype of german industrial music from the late 80's/early 90's, (black leather pants/vest with the minimum of added studs, short bleached and spiked hair, etc.) and started towards me in a menacing way swinging a length of chain. Bandet har gamla anor det bildades av några musikanter från Malte Johnsons berömda Lisebergsorkester som gärna ville gärna fortsätta att spela skön storbandsmusik i läckra arrangemang. Under de första åren spelade vi under namnet Lerums Storband men numera heter vi Smoke Rings Big Band. Det blev skivor, radio- och TV program och turnéer både inom och utom landets gränser.
