https://teatimeadventures.blogspot.com/2015/04/lunch-with-bethfenix.html
Monday, April 27, 2015. Lunch with Beth–Fenix. We decided to try the Eastern European food at Fenix. On the corner of Commerical and Leidesdorff. The interior is very pleasant, with lots of art on the walls and lighting provided by crystal chandeliers. We ordered at the counter and then chose a table. As usual, we ordered two different dishes and shared both. The pilaf was followed by an order of beef pelmeni. Location: 554 Commercial Street, San Francisco, CA 94111, USA. SF street food festival. Everyday Lil: July 2013
http://thedailylil.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
A chronicle of the daily adventures of one urban baby. A color that Crayola so thoughtfully included in their palette! And as much as I try to be that parent who's like, " Yeah, whatevs. She's just two. Those are just scribbles. Really, I'm the parent who photographed an array of her paintings, collages, and prints. And posted them on a blog —that's dedicated to her. Even though Lil won't be in Sheri's class in the fall (and boy, does she miss it already! Stamped ink and markers on construction paper.

A chronicle of the daily adventures of one urban baby. Lil and Kitty, 1.1.12. Found out today Kitty has cancer, and while we're waiting to find out if it's a treatable form, I'm mentally preparing to explain kitty-angels to Lil. Sometimes there's just no way to "be strong" for your kids. It's just gotta be messy and sad and ugly crying. I have a feeling that Lil will be the one surprising me with her resilience, and Bitty babe will smile in the face of my sadness. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

A chronicle of the daily adventures of one urban baby. So I'm trying to get Lil to make a video for Santa, highlighting all of her "nice" accomplishments for the year, and requesting all the loot she'd like to find under the tree on Christmas morning. This was moderately more difficult than I anticipated. Here is what we got:. This leaves just one question— Lil, sweet or dill? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Everyday Lil: December 2012

A chronicle of the daily adventures of one urban baby. Can't get enough of Lil Cat (video). Last week I uploaded these videos of Lil with the Cat. It's anyone's guess what she's actually telling him, but I think she's trying to convince him to stop being naughty, and gives him a "tiny blanket.". Grown up. all most. A few weeks ago I snapped some photos of Lil in a fitted beatnik turtleneck and skinny jeans, with her hair pulled back in a messy pony tail, á la, Kate Moss circa 2008. Grown up. all most.

Everyday Lil: May 2013
http://thedailylil.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
A chronicle of the daily adventures of one urban baby. Happy retro mother's day. This vid is not from Mother's Day. It's from August or September of 1978. There is a very cute baby in it, and a very happy mama. The baby is me. The mama is my mama—Lil's Granmary. And I'm pretty sure this is one of the only time my mom and I appear on film together. So this post is less for sharing and more for posterity. California calling, pt. 2. Post-nap yogurt, beachside. Beautiful Beco baby at Legoland.

Everyday Lil: January 2013
http://thedailylil.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
A chronicle of the daily adventures of one urban baby. I probably don't have as much time to write about Lil's birthday as I'd like— Lil and Bitty are both napping, and have been for some time now— let me just say that it was a fun-filled event which culminated with "happy cake" for Lil, and a somewhat emotional, even bittersweet day for me. For one thing, I played this song. About a dozen times, and perused blog entries from the early days. I also went back to my Facebook post for January 16, 2011:.
