Ben, Rachel and Avery. Thursday, August 7, 2008. The sweet people in the Accounting and Administration department at Rapides Hospital threw Ben and I a baby shower on Friday, August 1, 2008. Ben works in Accounting and my mom works in Administration. We had such a good time and Avery got some very nice things. She got some precious booties, a newborn gown and a great gift card to Wal-Mart. I have a feeling we will have lots of visitors. Ben and I with the cake! Newborn nightgown from Jennifer.

Of course, when it was time for her to put her clothes on I had to wipe all of it off. I could not let her go out of the house looking like that! She made sure to tell me 'mama, do not wipe my make up off'. So I told a big fib - 'Addy, let me wipe your nose'. She did not know that I managed to hit her whole face! I LOVE MY GIRLY GIRL!

She turned 3 on March 3rd. For her 1st party, we headed to Alexandria to celebrate with all her friends on March 1. It was a beautiful day and she had a great turn out at her party. Ben, Rachel and Avery. Wednesday, January 16, 2008. Well, it's official.there's a baby in my belly! I am 6 weeks and 2 days pregnant (give/take 3 days) and due on SE. PTEMBER 9, 2008. Ut 5 minutes before the nurse called me back. The first thing she did was an ultrasound. She found a little blob of tissue with a heartbeat. Ben, Rachel and Avery. Friday, March 21, 2008. Is it a BOY or a GIRL? We will find out if we are having a BOY or a GIRL on April 10, 2008. Gosh, time has FLOWN by. I am already 17 weeks. Only 3 more weeks and I'm halfway to meeting my little peanut. =). Ben and I are leaving for Branson today. We decided to take a little road trip, just the two of us, before the baby and everything gets too hectic. I'm looking forward to relaxing and enjoy spending time with Ben. Links to this post. Ben, Rachel and Avery. Thursday, September 4, 2008. Avery Elizabeth Cooper is HERE! Avery is finally here! She was born on August 15, 2008 at 4:08PM. She weighed 7 lbs 6 1/2 oz and was 21" long. She is happy, healthy and her looks are changing day by day. Here are a few pictures we took in the hospital. 7 lbs 6 1/2 oz; 21" long. Day #2 Eyes closed and eyes open. Links to this post.
