Snaptophobia: July 2010
http://snaptophobia.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
A journey of rediscovery seen through a lens. Tuesday, July 13, 2010. I’ve moved – redux. Update: How ironic that Posterous decided to close down. I think the writing was on the wall when they were acquired by Twitter. Ho hum. Anyway, Snaptophobia has moved again. Now, it's on a proper Wordpress site, on a server where I generally know what's going on. See you in the other place. Try not to disturb the cobwebs and dust too much if you visit here again. Heather has constructed seven coaches for me from the Just Like The Real Thing range, all have been completed to a fabulous standard.

Frank's Jottings: Making Tracks
http://dukedog9017.blogspot.com/2012/04/making-tracks.html
Wednesday, 4 April 2012. This time last week the weather was bright and sunny with temperatures around the 20degC mark, To-day it is blowing a blizzard outside, putting the damper on any chance of wood butchering the baseboard for Penmaenpool MPD, the next module in my Modular Cambrian model railway layout. As it happens there is always other work that can be done indoors in the warm! I need two points, (turnouts) for Penmaenpool and one Trap (catch) point. Click picture for larger image). Better I shut ...
Frank's Jottings: August 2014
http://dukedog9017.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Thursday, 14 August 2014. Something for the weekend? This weekend the 16th-17th August will see me take "Steam on the Cambrian" to one of my favourite shows at the Midland Railway Centre Butterly Derbyshire. I've always liked this show both as a visitor and exhibitor, it's a great mix between real live prototype stuff and model railways. There is something for everybody what ever your area of interest. You can download the show guide from the RMweb model rail forum here. Hope to see you there. Frank Coll...

Frank's Jottings: November 2014
http://dukedog9017.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, 23 November 2014. Steam in the Welsh landscape. The latest book to land on my book shelf is "Steam in the Welsh landscape" by Michael Welch. Today Wales is still famous for the "Great little Trains of Wales" but at one time every corner of the principality echoed to the sound of steam. Royal Scots would thunder along the North Wales line with the Irish mail while Britannias would storm out of Cardiff with Paddington expresses. Tuesday, 18 November 2014. 58xx A start is made. The original traction...

Snaptophobic | Wandering through life, trying to find some meaning.
Wandering through life, trying to find some meaning. Life, the Universe, and Everything Else. There are lots of small worlds out there. August 5, 2015. Model villages. We’re not talking about Legoland here, though that does kind of count I suppose. It does indeed appear I am not alone in my fascination for recreating the real world in miniature form. July 29, 2015. What a brilliant idea. Bookmarked. June 17, 2015. Has it been a year. June 17, 2015. Doesn’t time fly? We haven’t come up with a sensib...
