Tuesday, April 9, 2013. 1 onion (thinly sliced). 4 cloves garlic (minced). 1 t dried thyme. 1 c chicken broth. 1 (28oz) can tomatoes (with juice coarsely chopped). 10 boneless skinless chicken thighs. Cook bacon in large skillet over medium heat until crisp. About 4 minutes. Then transfer bacon to paper towel to drain. Crumble when cool. Make layers Place chicken in pan,top with some cheese, then place thinly sliced avocado and thinly sliced tomato, spoon some hollandaise sauce, then some cheese, then place ham, then some hollandaise sauce, then some cheese on top. Monday, August 26, 2013. Sunomono Japanese Cucumber Salad. 3 Japanese or 4 Persian cucumbers. 3 T rice vinegar. 1/4 t soy sauce. Slice cucumbers thin as you can. Stir in salt and let stand for 5 minutes. Squeeze water out of cucumbers. In a small bowl, mix rice vinegar, sugar, and soy sauce together until sugar dissolves. Monday, August 6, 2012. 1 box of rice or corn Chex cereal (the big box, about 10 cups of cereal). 1 (12oz) bag of white chocolate chips. 1 T heavy or milk. 3 c cake mix (confetti is fun). 1 c powdered sugar. Place cereal is big mixing bowl. Mix cake mix and powdered sugar and huge zip lock bag. Double broil white chocolate chips until melted, then add butter and milk/cream to the mixture and stir. Tuesday, August 6, 2013. 5 chicken breasts (10 tenderloins). 3/4 c brown sugar. 2/3 c apple cider vinegar. 1/4 c lemon lime soda. 2 T garlic powder. 2 T soy sauce. 1 t fresh ground pepper. 2 T corn starch. Spray slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray. Place chicken (frozen, thawed, or fresh doesn't matter) inside slow cooker. Mix together brown sugar, vinegar, soda, garlic, soy sauce, pepper in a bowl, then pour over the chicken. Serve over rice, noodles, or even a baked potato. This Week for Dinner.

Tuesday, April 9, 2013. 1/2 c soy sauce. 1/2 c brown sugar. 2 cloves garlic (minced). 1/2 T ginger powder. 1/2 T black pepper. 1/2 T dried oregano. 1/2 t crushed red pepper flakes. 8-10 boneless skinless chicken thighs. Whisk together all the ingredients in a bowl then add the chicken. Cover bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate/marinate for at least an hour. Sunday, October 5, 2014. 4 - 1/2 flats of Raspberries (approx 16lbs). 18 qt jars, lids, rings. This is a light to medium syrup for the raspberries. Wash quart jars and wash raspberries. Place all the raspberries in the clean jars. Start syrup on the stove. Dissolve the 8 cups of sugar into 12 cups of water on the stove. Do not boil, but get syrup hot! Make sure there is a steady steam coming out not to much and not too little. Repeat 2 more times from Start syrup on the stove paragraph.
