Monday, 30 March 2015. I really don't like to throw away mistakes, so I tuck them away and come back and look at them with fresh eyes. That is what today's card is about. I had inked up a card front with Bisters paint again but it didn't work for a card. Looked muddy and not very inviting. So, I tucked it away. Sunday, 17 May 2015. I just love having time to play and getting some new stamps can be very motivating. So, I was inspired by this new stamp I just bought from Technique Junkies and of course, my Brushos. Here's what I did. Friday, 5 June 2015. I made this waste paper bin at my friends house. It's her idea, not mine. But it's my work. The bin was made from an old tin, and magazine pages. The pages are rolled around a knitting needle and then hot glued onto the tin. The edging is made from plastic washing line pieces. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Monday, August 3, 2015. I made this card for the July-August Sketch. At the Enjoy Michael Strong Stamps Yahoo Group. You can see the sketch. Here on Hetty's blog. I'm just having so much fun with watercolors. Just wanted to mention that my friend gave me my set of 28 watercolor "cakes". I think they are made by Simbalion. I cut a scalloped circle from my "faux" watercolor paper with a Nestabilities die. Then cut a square slightly larger than the circle. And embossed it with Cuttlebug's Tiny Bubbles.
