WEN TO STITCH: February 2012
http://wentostitch.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Tuesday, February 21, 2012. Rex was working in the Denver office the last two weeks so I tagged along and enjoyed the snow and some girlfriend time with Staci. We did the usual girlfriend things - shopped, ate, and gabbed! I picked up the held mail this am and had a belated birthday gift from Joan. And my red exchange from Becky. Our Friends through Threads exchange group did a red exchange and I sent to Joan. I stitched her a design by Istitch Designs. I received from Becky. Thanks so much Joan :).

September 8, 2008 at 7:03 pm Posted in Uncategorized. I thought of some more things that I wanted to blog about and instead of editing my last post, I just thought I’d write a new one. Has anyone ever been able to scoop up any Silkweaver’s Solos on the day they’re posted? I haven’t been able to score one yet, until last week. At 12:02 I was on the site, and selected a lovely piece of 28ct Cashel that I HAD TO HAVE. Wanted. 12:02 and the damn thing was gone! Is this not beautious? Silkweaver Solo - MINE.

Told ya I’d be back. July 8, 2007 at 5:41 pm Posted in spinning. Lots of things to show and talk about. WIPS – quite a few for me but I know not as many as some. Less projects means I get to spend more time with each, resulting in more FO’s. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it, lol. I got the kit from Lettuce Knit in case anyone wants to hook up with one, but I got the full skeins from Coldwater Cooperative online. Okay, lots more to show. And more socks completed just in time for the 4th of July:.

September 14, 2008 at 11:20 am Posted in Uncategorized. First I want to say God Bless to those who are suffering the effects of Ike. My thoughts and prayers are with you! Finally a nice sunny day here after three days of rain though the rain was much needed. My grass was starting to crunch when I walked on it, lol. And it did make a mess outside where construction on the addition continues. Do you know how messy these guys are? I also made a batch of cookies yesterday – Oatmeal Scotchies! It was difficul...

Monday, February 16, 2009. I did it. I finished my Lizzie Kate "Love" and I blogged twice in the same week! I also worked 10 hours today. I am running behind on time and it is eating into the exercising time. So I have to be very brief. Here is my finish. Now if I can finish it into a pillow. Sunday, February 15, 2009. If I didn't have to work. Until then I am using this old one. Here is the boo club wip. Now and I decided it would be a fast stitch and pulled it out. Here is a wip. In the next post I am ...

Monday, August 18, 2008. Computer virus.hate them! I had so many I can't even count. So while the computer is getting fixed I bought my daughter's mac from her and I am able to get online again. Yeah! However, I am still learning how to do the pictures. She has a different program than me. So I am trying to figure out how to upload the pictures. I finished my Fair and Square round 8. And until I can post a picture you have to believe me they are beautiful! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Wendy Home at Work.

And would you believe that I still haven’t received the PTP fabric from Stitching Bits and Bobs? Glad I wasn’t holding my breath on this one. We’re into the start of the seventh week which is a far cry from the 2 – 4 weeks posted on the site. I spend a very lazy Saturday afternoon stitching this up:. October 19, 2008 at 10:51 am Posted in Uncategorized. Anyway, stitchy news. I’m almost done with Something Wicked by La-D-Da! I haven’t decided yet how I’m going to finish this, but am leaning towards a pillow. Something totally unexpected happened when I ironed this in prep for it’s picture. It’s stitched on 29ct. Glenshee Linen in “Muffin”. Now I have never worked with this fabric before (it is lovely! Heck, no. It took on a distressed look that I am absolutely loving! What am I going to do next? Creat...
