IN ADDITION MEMBERS RESPOND FROM HOME TO STAFF ADDITIONAL APPARATUS AT FIRE STATION 53. OUR FIRST OUT ENGINES ARE MATCHING 2001 AMERICAN LAFRANCE METROPOLITANS. THE ARE EQUIPPED WITH A 1500 GPM PUMP AND A 750 GALLON TANK. EACH RIG IS FULLY STOCKED WITH ALL NECESSARY FIREFIGHTING TOOLS AS WELL AS A FULL SET OF AUTOMOBILE RESCUE TOOLS.

Volunteering to Make A Difference. IN AN EMEGENCY DIAL 9-1-1. District 26 took delivery of two brand new ambulances on April 21st 2015. These units were purchased at a cost of $150,000 a piece from Braun Northwest of Chehalis. These are the first new ambulances purchased by the district in the last 13 years. They are replacing a 1996 ambulance the district purchased new as well as a 2001 ambulance purchased used from the Kirkland Fire Department in 2006. A rear attendant seat with a three point seatbelt.

We proudly serve approximately 10,000 people living in the Sultan and Startup areas. We operate out of one station that protects 72 square miles of primarily rural area in Snohomish County. The department employs a Fire Chief, 1 volunteer Deputy Chief, 6 full time fire fighters, and 26 volunteers who respond to approximately 1100 alarms per year.
