Thursday, March 22, 2007. Well, we left the beauty and peace of Emerald bay Marina and braved the Exuma Sound. It was a bit of a nasty run and everyone felt queasy- that's what we get for sitting at a cushy dock! The weather has been windy, squalls and unsettled at night but we are safe and okay thanks to wise anchorage decisions. Friday, October 20, 2006. Down the Hudson to NYC (short form). Schodack River anchorage (Oct 13). Bannerman Island and Castle (Oct 15). Deserted castle very cool! Nyack NY (Hook Mountain Yacht club)(Oct 16). Friendly members run us around to reprovision. 79th St yacht basin). Day 1(oct 17) arrive. Dinner and Broadway show, Beauty and the Beast featuring Donnie Osmond as Gaston. Day 3 (Oct 19) Walk Dogs to Central Park in morning and Head to Sandy Hook New Jersey in afternoon. Tuesday, February 20, 2007. Well, we made it to Georgetown. Can you believe it! The kids are so happy, we have found other kids- lots of them to play with. After the Exuma Land and Sea Park we moved on and had to wait out a few northerly storms. Monday, November 27, 2006. Well we have actually just crossed the border into Florida! Georgia was the only state we haven't had bad weather in so far but that's probably because we went like mad to get out of it as fast as possible as it was cold! We did Georgia in about 4 days!
