An attempt to actually have a journal. Saturday, June 25, 2011. A fun day at Saturday's Market. We decided to try some of the food carts that are downtown. We went over to SE Portland today. Mal chose a pizza. Courtney chose BBQ pulled pork fries. Connor had chili cheese fries. Pete had a brisket, blue cheese, and caramelized sandwich. I had an egg, cheese, spinach and mushroom crepe. Pete and I went to Disneyland to surprise Connor. He was there on his band trip. I was surprised when we got there. Pete had booked our room at the Grand Californian. This was our view from the room. An attempt to actually have a journal. Thursday, March 31, 2011. Night of the Notables. Courtney had her Night of the Notables before I went to Crescent City. She was Eleanor Roosevelt. The kids have to learn about their person, write a paper on them and dress like them for their night. The adults have to ask yes or no questions to try to figure out who they are. An attempt to actually have a journal. Thursday, November 24, 2011. Portland Macy's Thanksgiving Parade. All the kids were able to be in the Thanksgiving parade this year. Connor marched his trumpet and the girls did colorgaurd. After the parade we walked with the kids to Voodoo Donuts. Yum! Posted by Julie and Pete. Wednesday, November 23, 2011. The first turkey bowl I've attended. It was a fun morning but very cold. We headed out to Bob and Kim's for dinner in the evening and we all had a good time.

An attempt to actually have a journal. Monday, May 30, 2011. A stop in Crescent City. Before we left we had Dad take our picture in front of the house. On our way up to Crescent City we stopped at the Klamath bridge and took our picture with the Gold Bears. We found another one with it's baby. Justin found the next one. The tide pools were empty today but sometimes they are amazing. Dad came along for the ride and enjoyed being out of the house. We stopped by the cemetery to see Grandma and Grandpa Kurtz.
