Are we there yet? Vacation journals and other stuff. Wednesday, February 11, 2015. Carnival Dream 25 Jan 14. Large, we had over 4k guests. The elevators became a challenge at dinner times. This is my only negative. The larger capacity created no other issues. Other lines were never really unusually long. Cruising in Jan. meant the pools were too cold but the hot tubs were fine and we enjoyed the Serenity deck. Favorite port? Hands down Key West! Friday, October 24, 2014. Riu Palace Peninsula Cancun.

There is only one thing to do when your boss takes you out to lunch, tells you they are making some changes, and gives you a severance package-. Spend part of it the week before starting the new job. Patti and I booked a last minute vacation to Cancun and stayed at the Riu Palace Peninsula. We had an adults only villa suit. A private villa infinity pool was part of the deal. Ok, so the Carnival Triumph is being towed back to port after an engine room fire. I guess there is only one thing to do- book another cruise. We are set to go on the Carnival Freedom, an 8 day cruise out of Ft. Lauderdale 10/19/13. Some new port calls for us: Turks and Cacaos, Dominican Republic, Curacao, and Aruba.
