We have been busy redecorating since retirement, all starting to come together in lounge and dining room. New carpet throughout but also new curtains in lounge and dining. On our last day we took a tour to Lucca, Tuscany – another stunning walled city. It was beautiful and a lovely place of narrow winding cobble stoned streets and ancient buildings. Can’t seem to get photos to attach in the correct size, will try once more. We hope to come back to the Sunshine Coast every couple of years. May try a different apartment complex next time as sometimes this can be a little noisy early in the morning when all the surfers park under your bedroom window at dawn and slam their car doors etc.

My Photography My Passion. February 28, 2015. Thursday, 12 February 2015. Too excited for words, we arrived at the airport to check in for our flight to Sydney. This was the first time I could use the self-check in with my new passport which made everything so easy. The flight to Sydney was loads of fun with great service. My Photography My Passion. At last the long weekend is here, and this year I’ve added two days of annual leave, giving me a lovely long 5 day holiday, starting with Friday and ending on Tuesday. To celebrate the big weekend I cracked open a bottle of my favourite wine, bought a book on tidying up which I intend to read and act upon this weekend and a very large box of Ferris Wheel Lego to build when I’m not drinking wine or reading my new book. Update: Monday – Labour Day 24 October 2016. I own a Ferrari.
